The Cool S is a graffiti sign in popular culture that is typically doodled on children's notebooks or graffitied on walls. The exact origin of the Cool S is unknown, but it became prevalent around the early 1970s as a part of graffiti culture.

Depending on how you sew the patches, they may fray a bit over time, or when put in the wash. If you want a frayed look, use a more spaced apart stich pattern. If you want to prevent fraying, use a tight, close together stich pattern.

Black Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas or 14 oz twill (depending on availability)
Natural Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas (depending on availability)

Care: patches are colour fast and the print will survive in the wash. they can go in the dryer, but I recommend hanging to dry any garment with patches sewn on to them. DO NOT IRON THE PRINTED AREA. if you do need to iron the patch, either upside down or with a piece of fabric between the patch and the iron.
