Ken Sim hates poor people patch.

I drew this patch up on the afternoon that the Vancouver Police moved into the Main and Hastings area and raided the unhoused people living in the area. This was an act of violence by the VPD. The local traffic cameras were shut off, peoples belongings were tossed, and they were not given any viable option of anywhere to go. This patch represents what I was thinking while reading about this happening.

Depending on how you sew the patches, they may fray a bit over time, or when put in the wash. If you want a frayed look, use a more spaced apart stich pattern. If you want to prevent fraying, use a tight, close together stich pattern.

Black Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas or 14 oz twill (depending on availability)
Natural Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas (depending on availability)

Care: patches are colour fast and the print will survive in the wash. they can go in the dryer, but I recommend hanging to dry any garment with patches sewn on to them. DO NOT IRON THE PRINTED AREA. if you do need to iron the patch, either upside down or with a piece of fabric between the patch and the iron.
